Code of Conduct

The Global Girls Development Foundation (GGDF) is dedicated to fostering an environment where young women can develop their skills, gain confidence, and pursue meaningful careers in fields such as motorsports, automotive, and related technical industries. GGDF is also committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of its community members, ensuring a safe and supportive space for personal and professional growth.

Our Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for all participants, members, volunteers, mentors, and staff within the GGDF community. This Code promotes respect, integrity, professionalism, and emotional well-being, applying to all GGDF events, programs, and online interactions.

Respect for Others

Inclusivity: GGDF is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, nationality, religion, disability, or sexual orientation. All members must treat each other with respect and empathy, celebrating the diversity that strengthens our community.

Professionalism: All participants are expected to behave professionally, respectfully, and courteously in interactions.

Harassment-Free Environment: Harassment, bullying, discrimination, and intimidation are not tolerated at GGDF. This includes verbal, physical, and online behaviors. Any reported incidents will be taken seriously and addressed according to GGDF’s policies.

Emotional Respect: Members should be mindful of the emotional well-being of others, avoiding language or actions that could cause unnecessary stress or discomfort.

Integrity and Honesty

Alignment with Goals: All members, volunteers, and staff should be committed to furthering GGDF’s mission to empower young women in technical fields. This includes actively supporting values of empowerment, inclusivity, integrity, and mental well-being.

Responsibility: Members should uphold GGDF’s standards in their conduct, avoiding any actions that could negatively impact GGDF’s reputation, mission, or community relationships.

Community and Collaboration

Collaboration: GGDF values teamwork and encourages all members to collaborate, share knowledge, and support one another’s growth and learning.

Mentorship and Support: GGDF promotes a culture of mentorship where experienced members and mentors provide guidance, encouragement, and positive role modeling for newer or younger participants.

Constructive Feedback: Members should provide constructive and respectful feedback, supporting the development and improvement of others in the GGDF community.

Wellness Collaboration: GGDF encourages partnerships with mental health and wellness organizations to provide resources and programs that promote emotional resilience and balance.

Commitment to Learning and Growth

Safety and Well-Being

Safe Environment: GGDF prioritizes the safety and well-being of all members. Members must adhere to all safety guidelines provided by GGDF at events, programs, and workshops.

Health and Safety Standards: Members are expected to follow all health and safety protocols related to physical activities or equipment handling in motorsports and automotive programs.

Mental Health Support: GGDF provides access to mental health resources, including counseling services, workshops on resilience, and peer support groups. Members are encouraged to use these services and prioritize their emotional well-being.

Reporting Concerns: Members are encouraged to report any behavior or conditions threatening their or others’ safety or mental health. All reports will be handled with confidentiality and care.

Confidentiality and Privacy

Protecting Personal Information: GGDF respects the privacy of its members. Personal information should be handled with care and confidentiality, adhering to GGDF’s privacy policy.

Respect for Boundaries: Members should respect the privacy and personal boundaries of others, both in and outside GGDF activities.

Emotional Privacy: Members are encouraged to create a supportive environment while respecting the mental health needs and boundaries of others.


Enforcement of the Code of Conduct

Reporting Violations: Any violations of this Code of Conduct should be reported promptly to GGDF leadership or designated representatives. Reports may be submitted confidentially, and all complaints will be reviewed with seriousness and discretion.

Consequences of Misconduct: Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in actions including, but not limited to, warnings, temporary suspension, termination of membership, or other disciplinary measures. Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent expulsion from GGDF.

By participating in GGDF activities, members agree to abide by this Code of Conduct and contribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for all.
